Our company’s origins trace back to 1887, when Mr. Witkoski, a Polish British individual, established Witkoski & Co., a foreign trading house in Yokohama. With a long and distinguished history spanning over 130 years since our founding, we have navigated through dramatic shifts in both domestic and international affairs. Throughout this journey, we have consistently embraced a forward-looking management approach, enabling us to ride the waves of change. Our company name evolved from Witkoski & Co. to Witco Co., Ltd., and then to our current name, Witco Industries Ltd., upon the relocation of our head office to Okinawa in 1982. The traditions and corporate culture meticulously built over this extensive period have been faithfully passed down through generations.

We continuously adapt to changes in the times and environment, embracing new challenges without fear, even amidst the current unstable and unpredictable social climate. While our journey began as a general merchandise trading company, specializing in import and export, we have since diversified our business significantly. Today, our core operations primarily involve construction projects within US military bases, alongside public and private sector construction, and the sale of industrial materials. Furthermore, in response to recent climate change concerns, we are actively engaged in providing technologies and services aimed at realizing a decarbonized society.
